To order the right size bag, measure your item's width, height, and depth, as the plastic bag needs to fit all the way around it. The bag width should be the item width plus the item depth, and the bag height should be the item height plus the item depth, with an extra 1/2" added for the zipper opening.

"Mil" refers to the plastic thickness, and 6 Mil (.006") is about twice as thick as a standard freezer bag, making it excellent for heavy-duty applications. Our reclosable bags are made from virgin LDPE (low-density polyethylene), meeting FDA requirements for food contact and storage, and are BPA-free.

The bag's top lip is offset for easy separation of the sides and opening of the zipper track. To close, pinch one end of the zipper and slide your finger and thumb along it, remembering to squeeze out excess air.
